UNDERDOG

The solo performance, originally premiered in November 2024 and renewed in 2026, explores themes of social marginalization, self-building, starting from a disadvantaged position, survival, and the act of asking for help. In Stern’s personal confession, the experience of a past abusive relationship is paralleled with being a  Hungarian. The audience is given the opportunity for personal reflection while encountering Stern’s unique language of movement and performance.
