Stern Lili is a young arts manager and has been an active member of the Hungarian contemporary dance scene since 2016.
In 2021, Stern graduated from the Theatre and Film Arts University with a BA in Drama Instruction, then received a scholarship to study and moved to New York State for a Master’s in Arts Management. After completing her Master’s in 2023, she moved to Northern California, where she worked as an arts manager for two years at Napa Valley’s most renowned classical music festival, Music in the Vineyards.
Since 2024, Stern has been the Communications Manager at the Műhely Foundation in Budapest, as well as one of the young creative arts managers for the European Next Stage Project management incubator program. She collaborates with artists, companies, and festivals such as Beatrix Simkó, Létra Társulat, and Hungary Live Festival, among others. From 2025, Stern assists in the strategic renewal of Bethlen Square Theatre and became a member of the theater’s arts council.
In her managerial work, Stern is most interested in sustainable creative strategy development, brand building, festival organization, and advocacy and organization efforts.
